Blackberry 9900 Vs Nokia N9 Head To Head Comparison
Blackberry 9900 comes with a QWERTY keyboard, a touch sensitive control, an optical track pad and also with proximity, accelerometer sensors. The screen is a 2.8 inch with 640 X 480 pixel resolution. N9 in the meantime has only a 480 X 854 pixel support, but with a 3.9 inch screen size. One spectacular feature of the N9 is its large glass display which is equally good as the optical track pad enabled Blackberry display. Added to the advantage, N9 has Anti-glare polarizer too.
The data storage and handling system of Blackberry 9900 is strengthened with a GPRS bundled with EDGE technology and high speed 3G network accessibility with a 14.4Mbps speed rate. The connectivity option is enhanced with a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v2.1 in both the new mobile handsets. Both the handsets have a microUSB v2.0 for better synchronization.
Nokia N9 gets its lead when the camera utility is analyzed. The handset features an 8MP camera with the famous Carl Zeiss optics. Blackberry, meanwhile is tooled up with a 5MP camera offering a 2592 X 1944 pixel support. While it's a dual LED flash in N9, Blackberry has only a single LED flash. Rest of the camera features are the same, like geo tagging, and image stabilizing in both the new mobile handsets. Other entertainment options can be found in N9 with the new improved gaming application, with preloaded games -Angry Birds Magic, Galaxy on Fire2, Real Golf 2011 and several other downloadable, while Blackberry lean more towards the business oriented applications as it has always been.
Blackberry 9900 becomes unbeatable when it comes to software features. With variant java specifications, Blackberry also facilitates word, excel, power point and similar applications. It even has the exclusive Blackberry map embedded in it. N9 comes with SNS integration and also an active noise cancellation with a sensitive sensor microphone. With other distinctive features like a TV out, Digital Compass, and Document editors consisting of a PDF viewer, the handset even offers a music play up to steady 50 hours.
Blackberry 9900 is expected to be launched in September this year, with the price details not yet revealed. The release date of Nokia N9 is not announced officially, but the phone will hit the markets later this year with an expected price tag of RS.35000.
