Blackberry Bold 9900's phone design issue spotted

The makers of BlackBerry, the Research in Motion is in trouble again. The report in a Canadian website had it that the Blackberry model Bold 9900 has some major design errors in them. A leaked image of the handset is now spread widely showing its holster problem and that causes the keypad and even the keys fall off from it. This is something that cannot be tolerated and definitely that’s not what the world expects from Blackberry.

A much read report on this failure of Blackberry handsets states that the flaws are found on the Blackberry Bold handsets that has been manufactured before the November 13, the previous year. The failure according to the report is due to the folded edge right inside of the holster lips and that’s what is causing the keys to get knocked out of the device when it’s inserted into the holster at a particular angle with some force.

However it’s confirmed that the models that has been manufactured after November 13 have not got any problem. So, lucky are the ones who went for the Blackberry Bold 9900 after the mentioned date and it’s obviously sad news for the early buyers of the handset. As compensation, Research in Motion has increased the warranty of the phones to an additional 18 months and this is applicable for all the handsets of the same model with the flaw. Any hopes on that solving the problem can be viewed with the eyes of an optimist for the time being.
