Blackberry phones were well known for their Blackberry instant mail service. Even though major mobile manufacturers have started making Smartphone"s, Blackberry is yet to lose its special charm. People still consider Blackberry as an elite Smartphone brand. Blackberry has several models in its stables and today we make a comparative study of two upcoming models from Blackberry.

The models are Blackberry 9930 Bold Touch and Blackberry 9810 Torch 2. Both are top of the line Smartphone"s from the house of Blackberry. Both the models are neatly designed and features a touch and type dual interface. Both the phones come equipped with a capacitive touch screen display in addition to the physical QWERTY keypad.

But Blackberry 9810 Torch 2 has a larger display size of 3.2 inches as compared to the 2.8 inches of the Blackberry 9930 Bold Touch. The Torch model also has a sliding keypad as compared to the bar design of the Blackberry 9930 Bold Touch.

Blackberry 9930 Bold Touch and Blackberry 9810 Torch 2 have support for the latest in multimedia entertainment specs and comes loaded with a music player that is very easy to use and organise. The phones also have a video player. Both Blackberry models support playback of a wide variety of known media formats including high definition h263 and h264 video formats. They have an FM radio and a 3.5 mm audio jack too in common.

Both Blackberry 9930 Bold Touch and 9810 Torch 2 has a very large 8 GB of internal memory besides offering external memory expansion capability of up to 32GB via a Micro SD slot. Both the phones have a 5 Mega Pixel camera and are capable of providing high definition 720p video recording facility.
The phones run on Proprietary Java based OS developed by Blackberry which is highly reliable and powerful also. Blackberry 9810 Torch 2 has a larger RAM of 768 MB and is thus faster than the Blackberry 9930 Bold Touch.

The Blackberry 9930 Bold Touch is expected to be slightly cheaper than the Blackberry 9810 Torch 2, however the exact pricing and release date of both these models in India is yet to be declared.
