RIM also offers a New Year discount for Blackberry Playbooks which will be available at a price of just Rs 13,500/- approximately. But the offer is valid only till the end of this December.

Snap me New Year:

This is also a free app which offers SnapME frames for the photos you capture with the camera of your smartphone. This app requires Blackberry Device Software 5.0 or higher. After decorating your photos, you can share it in Facebook from your handset itself, which also automatically registers you as a contestant for a New Year contest. The photos with the most likes by January 15, 2012 will score the Grand Prize of a 3-Night Get-away at a ME by Meliá resort. 10 Runner-ups will be gifted 4 AM CD’s which will feature DJ Price and DH Ani Quinn.

Gift ‘n’ Take:

With just a click, this free application will allow the Blackberry users to send custom-made personalized special gifts to your friends and loved ones. It’s basically a gift app which lets you send gifts to your buddies via social networking media like Facebook and RIM’s own Blackberry Messenger 6 (BBM 6).
