Blackberry London coming soon!

From past few months we have come across the news on Blackberry coming up with smartphone running on BBX operating system. Surprisingly; till date there is no official announcement being made by any of the authorities on the release date or features and specifications of the upcoming piece of innovation. According to sources the latest version of smartphone with BBX operating system will be hitting the stores probably by the end of June next year.

Even though the authorities are keeping mum on any of the information on the gadget, some snaps of the device known as Blackberry London have been released. If the rumor comes true then BlackBerry London will be the first smartphone to be released by the company with BBX OS. In fact the BBX is an updated version of the earlier developed software known as QNX. The earlier release PlayBook Tablet was incorporated with QNX.

Well, the pictures revealed shows that the new smartphone is entirely different from the traditional BlackBerry style as it has a wider screen with complete touch facility. The screen size is stated as 3.7 inches. Moreover the gadget is thinner and has been designed stunningly. BlackBerry is also looking forward to compete with some of the top brands in the market today such as Samsung Galaxy S II and Apple iPhone 4S as it has the most recent and advanced features incorporated in it.

The operating system is enhanced with TI OMAP processor which is also of dual core and clocked with 1.5 GHz. There is also 1 GB RAM according to the sources and an internal memory of 16 GB. The camera is also mind-blowing as it is expected to be of 8 mega pixel. We have seen in the past; BlackBerry handsets struggling with the camera facility but now it seems like things are changing around. A front camera of 2 mega pixel is also expected in the latest Blackberry London.

However with BBX we could expect high performances as well as attractive user interface. In the images of the gadgets revealed we could also see that the developers have tried to imitate the logo for some features such as music player form Apple iOS. As if now, we could just conclude that the gadget might hit the stores with more surprises. Since, there is no official declaration on BlackBerry London it can also be considered as a prototype by the company. Anyway, expectation in the mobile industry on the gadget is high, but RIM taking longer time for the release might not be appreciated.
