Although, Passport smartphone with a odd looking QWERTY keypad has leaked several times in the past instilling curiosity among the company's fans, BlackBerry has not showed any signs of releasing it so far.

Also, while smartphone makers like Samsung, LG and other top-tier manufacturers are busy launching their latest devices in the market, BlackBerry has comparatively launched a very less number of smartphones this year. However, recent leaks suggest that the company will be launching a handful of devices in the second half of this year.

BlackBerry P’9983 and Z3 LTE (Manitoba) Specs Leak Online

Now according to the online reports, the struggling Canadian smartphone maker is getting ready for the launch of a new Porsche Design smartphone, one that would arrive on shelves under the name of P'9983. However, this particular smartphone had also been spotted earlier this year but then it was attached to the codename 'Khan.'

Talking about the specs, according to N4BB, the handset will be run on BlackBerry10 platform and will feature a QWERTY keypad. Other rumored specs include: 3.5-inch touchscreen display, along with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, which should be paired with 3GB of RAM. BlackBerry P'9983 (Khan) is also said to feature 64GB of internal memory. Moreover, build-wise it is said that the smartphone will be made out of carbon and steel. Availability of the smartphone is rumored to be before Christmas this year.

In the related news, BlackBerry might also announce BlackBerry Z3 LTE, which will supposedly come out with a codename Manitoba before the end of this year.

This one is rumored to come with a 5-inch touchscreen, 1.7GHz dual-core processor inside, and with 2GB of RAM. It is also said that this LTE-enabled version of BlackBerry Z3 will be priced around $400 (approx. Rs. 24,024).
