The BlackBerry Z3, comparatively, comes with a slightly more 5-inch capacitive touch screen which renders 540 x 960 pixels resolution, with dimensions measuring up to 140 x 72.8 x 9.3 mm.

The BlackBerry Z3, in terms of camera, makes its presence felt by sporting a 5-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash, with a secondary 1.1-megapixel camera at the front.

The Moto G, on the other hand, sports a lesser 5-megapixel primary camera, sporting a pixel resolution of 2592х1944 pixels, with autofocus and LED flash. The device also has a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera on board that's more than enough for conducting video chats.

While the Motorola Moto G is equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad core cortex-A7 processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, its BlackBerry counterpart powers up the Z3 via a 1.2 GHz dual core Krait 200 processor.

The Motorola-made Moto G offers 1GB of RAM while offering the device in 8 GB and 16 GB internal memory variants. However, there's no option to expand the device's memory as an external microSD slot for additional memory is missing.

The Z3, in this respect, offers 1.5GB of RAM although arriving only in an 8 GB internal memory variant. However, unlike the Moto G, there's the option to expand the device's memory up to 32 GB as an external microSD slot for additional memory has been provided.

Going by the kind of popularity Motorola has already garnered with the Moto G, it's highly unlikely that the device will go out of favor any time soon. However, the BlackBerry Z3 might try to force it's way into the equation, but most will still inclined to use the latest Android offering. So Moto E might just pip over the Z3 riding on the KitKat.
