In recent times, BlackBerry hasn't seen much action in terms of smartphones sold or offering any sort of competition to the likes of Samsung or Apple. However, it seems like the company is still on the hunt to stay afloat in the market with its Z30 offering with a slashed price tag.

Slashing price tags to make a smartphone available to fans is not, however, something new since a number of companies a currently adopting the policy to make their once costly smartphones affordable for the ones who are actually looking to own it, but cannot due to the price tag.

The new BlackBerry offer has arrived as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the company's entry in the Indian market. However, it should be noted that the offer is a limited time discount and will last for only 60 days.

As far as the offered specifications of the Z30 are concerned, the BlackBerry Z30 has a 5-inch Super AMOLED display having resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with Adreno 32- quad-core graphics coupled with 2GB of RAM. It houses native storage unit of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.

Also, there's an 8-mega pixel camera with Auto Focus, LED Flash, 5x digital zoom and ability to record videos in Full HD format. Also add a 2-mega pixel front facing camera with 3x digital zoom and 720p HD video recording facility.

The makers have added a 2,880mAh Li Ion non-removable battery. BlackBerry says the battery lasts up to 25 hours. Connectivity features include: 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, microHDMI, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and preloaded BlackBerry Apps.
