BlackBerry 10 L Series Smartphones: Hands on Video Leaks Online

After the images, it's now the video of the upcoming BlackBerry 10-L hand series that is leaked by a Vietnamese Website. The same website also leaked the pictures of the hand set a couple of days back. The hand-set is compared to Dev Alpha B unit in the video. The handset does look very sleek.

The video features the multitasking capabilities of the phone with an array of icons seen in the new platform. The OS is still in its preliminary stage but the other features of the phone like texts, calling features are working smoothly.


The images now posted in the website are of high resolution and show the distinguished features of the phone like the removable back cover, NFC antenna, micro-SD slots, removable 1800 mAh battery etc. The metallic finish of the volume rocker and the micro-USB and micro-HDMI ports imparts the feel of an aesthetically designed phone.

As per the announcement made by the Research in Motion, the handset is to be released on January 30, 2013. The release will take place simultaneously in a number of places in the world and the date also marks the official launch of BlackBerry's new platform, Black Berry 10. The two new smartphones of BlackBerry 10 will also be unveiled the same day.

Black Berry 10 is expected to feature a number of factors including games, social and lifestyle, leisure multimedia and published content. It is specially designed for business and enterprise use. FIPS 140-2 certification was received by BlackBerry 10 recently.

This certification is to prove that the Government agencies can well deploy Black Berry 10 as soon as it is launched. This is also the first time a Black Berry product is certified even before its launch. Also an announcement made by RIM confirmed the entry of the smart phones into more than 50 carrier labs. More entries are expected too.
