BSNL Champion DM6513 with 6.5-Inch Display Launched at Rs 6,999
State Owned BSNL Telecom Operator, in partnership with Champion today launched its next gen Phablet BSNL Champion DM6513. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,999.
Kapil Wadhwa, MD, Champion Computers said, "Our BSNL DM6513 is a 6.5" phablet which is suitable for both work and play. After introducing Feature Phones and Smartphones, we were certain to penetrate in the Phablet market. We have devised our product with all the necessary features at a very competitive pricing. We are affirmative that this product will set great standards and substantiate that we are offering the best of quality at very affordable prices."

The handset comes with a 6.5-inch Capacitive Touch Screen display and is powered by a Dual Core processor. The Android 4.2.2 OS comes out of the box. The device is 3G enabled and features G- Sensor and FM with recording as well.
In the imaging category, there is a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front facing shooter.
Moreover, the device is powered by a massive 3500mAh battery which according to company offers a talk time up to 4 hours and standby time of 62 hours. The phablet is WiFi enabled and the memory is expandable up to 32GB.
The BSNL Champion DM6513 comes with one year warranty and it will be available PAN India through Online Stores like Flipkart, Snapdeal, ebay, Naaptol, Tradus, Homeshop18, Indiatimes, Rediff, Amazon, Shopclues, Infibeam etc.
The company has not disclosed the screen resolution, CPU clock and the features of the device so far. However, at the given price point this is probably going to be the first largest smartphone to be available in India.
