Celkon A107 Signature One and C779 Handsets Launched in India: Available from May 18

As the leading India based tech manufacturers including Micromax and Karbonn are constantly coming up with different handsets, Hyderabad based vendor Celkon also seems to have joined the list.

 

In a recent development, Celkon launched A119Q Signature HD in India at Rs 12,499 and now, it appears that the handset vendor has a phablet and a feature phone that are ready to be rolled out of its sleeve.

Celkon A107 Signature One and C779 Handsets Launched in India: Availab

According to a NDTV report, A107 Signature One is a budget mid-range phablet that Celkon is planning to announce on May 18. The handset will be launched on May 18 and it will feature a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1GHz dual core processor, 512MB RAM, Android 4.0 ICS, 512MB internal storage, micro SD card slot, 8MP rear camera and VGA front camera. As of now the other details of the of the phablet and its price remain unknown.

Further, the report suggests that the company is also planning for a feature phone - Celkon C779 powered by a 1,800 mAh battery. The specialty of the handset is that it can be charged via AAA battery for a limited time period in case of emergency. The C779 comes with a 1.3MP rear camera, Bluetooth and has dual SIM support.

Analyzing the specifications of Celkon A107 Signature One, it can be said that the phablet could be a stiff competitor to Karbonn A25 and Micromax Canvas Viva A72.
