Celkon A35K Now Available at Rs 2,999: Top 10 Rivals to Cheapest Android Kitkat Smartphones in India

The competition in the Indian handset market is set to further increase with the growing demand for low cost phones. Celkon, a home grown handset manufacturer, today launched its latest affordable Android smartphone at a price of Rs. 2,999 in snapdeal. Dubbed the Celkon Campus A35K, the new phone runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out-of-the-box.

The Celkon Campus A35K features a 3.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz processor coupled with 512MB of on-board storage, which can be later expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

There's a 3.2MP rear-facing camera and a VGA quality front- front-facing shooter. The makers have added a 1,400mAh battery fitted inside. The phone measures 10.7mm in terms of thickness and weighs in at 102 grams.

Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm , FM Radio, G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB, and more.

The Campus A35K will likely to face tough competition from the likes of Karbonn A50s, Lava Iris 350M, Intex Cloud Y10, Spice Smart Flo Mettle 3.5X Mi-356, among others.
