Battery Life and Verdict
Celkon Campus A35K comes powered by a 1400mAh removable battery which is decent for a phone which comes with this small form factor. Since we used the device just for a while at the event, we can't say for sure how the battery life is consumed by the phone. But since the display is not so big and comes with a pretty weak color output, we can assume that the battery will deliver quite a decent life-time to the phone.

Verdict
Taking all possible pros and cons of the phone, it is pretty hard to make a final judgment, especially in such less time. However, after spending a short while with it today, we have come up with some finely-observed judgments about the phone, which you can call a "verdict."

Celkon Campus A35K's pricing is a courageous act and offering a 3G support along with a video-calling option is definitely an icing on the cake. Leaving these three things apart, the only reason why people would buy this phone is because of Google's Android KitKat OS.
There is a Dual SIM support which is not something that Indian-buyers would overlook, and also add two camera modules. But obviously all these features wrapped in a Rs. 3,000 price tag, is something most would drool over.

But these are only the pros of the handset. If some sort of a goof up from the company's side is to be addressed in the phone, it wouldn't be anything other than the processor, RAM and storage.
Celkon could have re-thought about the price and also should have tried to use a higher RAM if not the better processor and increased internal storage to make it even a better buy. And lastly, making the budget-friendly devices as such available exclusively via online retailer could be one wall that would keep the company away from reaching the targeted customers.
