Celkon Signature Two A500 Launched in Collaboration with Flipkart at Rs 5,999

    Domestic handset maker Celkon launched the new Signature Two A500 smartphone in partnership with e-commerce giant Flipkart at a glitzy event in Bangalore. The new Android 4.4 Kitkat smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,999. The Signature Two A500 will be made exclusively on Flipkart with a free flip cover.

    Alongside the debut of the Signature Two A500, Celkon also unveiled another budget handset, the Campus Evoke A43, touted it as the world's lightest phone at just 93g.

    Celkon Signature Two A500 - Highlighted Specifications

    Unveiled at an event in Bangalore, the Signature Two A500 sports a 5-inch FWVGA display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board memory and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB).

    The makers have added a powerful 2000mAh battery fitted inside. There's a 5MP rear-camera, front-facing shooter, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and G Sensor. The phone is running the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the box.

    Celkon Evoke A43 - Highlighted Specifications

    The Celkon Evoke A43, on the other hand, is a budget phone with a 4-inch WVGA IPS display. The company claims its Evoke A43 is the world's lightest handset at 93g. The 3G-enabled phone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of native storage and a microSD card slot.

    In the imaging department, the device has a 5MP rear-facing and VGA quality front-facing shooter for selfies. The connectivity options are as follows: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, FM Radio and last but not the least a 1400mAh battery inside.

    The dual-SIM device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile OS. It is priced at Rs. 5,699.
