The Indian smartphone market continues to grow in size with a host of new handset makers coming into the frame. Sure we already have a host of foreign handset makers in the country, but the Indian ones deserve a special mention.
One of the companies that's now looking more and more likely to join the big list of top Indian handset makers is Celkon. The domestic mobile devices brand is known to come up with a host of new budget smartphones in a short time.
The company now has even more to share for its users as it recently came out with a brand new handset, dubbed Celkon Signature Two A500. The device is yet another addition to the company's host of other such handsets.
Unveiled at an event in Bangalore, the Signature Two A500 sports a 5-inch FWVGA display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board memory and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB).
The makers have added a powerful 2000mAh battery fitted inside. There's a 5MP rear-camera, front-facing shooter, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and G Sensor. The phone is running the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the box.
But while the specs and numbers remain at their place, what are the top features that should make you opt for the device in the coming days? We take a closer look.
In case you can't get the smartphone that you were looking for at this price budget, the new Celkon Signature Two A500 could be quite the replacement. The device come with a 5-inch FWVGA display(480x854p) that's expected to offer good angles and better color reproduction.
The new Celkon Signature Two A500 comes powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. And while a few questions will be raised since it's only a dual core and not a quad core device, but we say that it should be enough to help you get all the work done. Just look at Moto E.
Like most of us, you will be happy to know that the Celkon Signature Two A500 is one of those devices that indeed arrive supporting external microSD. In fact, the device's memory can be increased to another 32GB for more spaces.
This one isn't really a big deal since most of the handsets in the market are anyway offering the Android KitKat OS. And likewise, the Celkon Signature Two A500 also comes running the latest Android offering to make the treat worth your time.
Nothing can be a bigger treat than a new handset offering a big battery support to see off your day at work or outside. Nothing can be more problematic than a handset running out midway. But with the new Celkon handset, you can wave all those worries goodbye.
