Celkon Win 400 First Look: Processor and Connectivity
As far as basic numbers are concerned, the Celkon Win 400 offers a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 Snapdragon 200 processor, complimented by Adreno 302. And going by the specs, it isn't half as bad as you might think it to be.

If history has taught us anything, a quad core processor is more than enough to get the job done for you. Sure we have out octa core and hexa cores, but going by modern smartphone standards, you don't need more than a quad core processor to help you get by with everyday work. The handset also comes paired with 512 MB of RAM.

While a full review for the handset is coming soon, for the time being, it's safe to say that this hardware combo should be able to render a moderate performance that we can expect from a sub Rs 5,000 priced smartphone. However, there shouldn't be much hassle in terms of operation and the Windows Phone platform can easily sail through it.
The most unimpressive thing we have seen from the handset so far, however, is its mere 4 GB of native storage capacity. And although this storage capacity would not suffice to save any content other than very few applications, there is a micro SD card slot onboard that supports expandable storage up to 32 GB.

While the 4 GB of storage space is annoying, you have to consider that there are similar offerings in the entry-level market segment making it a standard aspect. And we are sure more similar handsets will be coming up in the future. however, stay tuned for the benchmark scores that we will post in the main review.
The Celkon Win 400 also comes packed with standard connectivity aspects including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB.
