Celkon Win 400 Launched at Rs 4,999: Aims to Grab Budget Windows Phone Market
Hyderabad based handset manufacturer Celkon Mobiles has launched its first-ever Windows 8.1 smartphone in India today. Dubbed as Celkon Win 400, the handset is exclusively available online via e-commerce store Snapdeal at a price of Rs 4,999.
As claimed by the officials, Celkon Win 400 is the cheapest Windows Phone OS handset now available in the market beating the price of Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 which is selling at Rs. 5,999. With this attempt Celkon becomes one of the first five Indian smartphone brands to come up with a Windows Phone device. Others including Micromax, Xolo and Karbonn have already been in the Windows ecosystem for quite sometime now.
Celkon Win 400 - Key Specifications:
Celkon Win 400 comes with 4-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The dual SIM phone also comes packed with 1.3 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200(MSM 8212) processor with Adreno 302 GPU. Further, Win 400 also sports 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 1.3 MP front facing camera alongside 3G connectivity. Moreover, you will also find a 4GB of internal memory alongside 512MB RAMfollowed by a 1500 mAh battery.

As far as the form factor is concerned, Celkon Win 400 carries the dimensions of 10.3 mm thickness and weighs 121 grams. Officially, there has been no announcement from the Celkon company about the offline store sales, however, as of now Celkon Win 400 is available exclusively on e-commerce webiste Snapdeal at Rs.4,999, in black color as displayed in the website.
