Compare Acer Phones- Acer beTouch E400 Vs Acer Neo Touch P300
Acer now has a wide range of mobile devices in its stable and today we are going to have a look at two models that Acer has introduced in India. Let us review and look into Acer beTouch E400 and the Acer Neo Touch P300 models. Let us look into the specifications when we compare Acer phones these two models.
The two models mentioned above i.e. the Acer beTouch E400 and the Acer Neo Touch P300 are phones belonging to the category of Smartphone"s. To start to compare these Acer phones, the Acer beTouch E 400 is a full touch screen phone that comes with a 3.2 TFT resistive touch screen display that offers a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels. The Acer Neo Touch P300 on the other hand comes with the same size touch screen display but it also features a sliding full QWERTY physical keypad. The phone has a different screen resolution at 240 x 400 pixels.
While looking to compare these Acer phones, both the phones provide support for multimedia content with audio and video recording and playback support for a wide variety of media formats. The supported formats in both include MP3, WAV, WMA and EAAC+. Both of them come with a standard 3.5 mm Audio jack that enables them to be connected to large speakers or headsets for enjoying music.
Of these Acer phones specifications, the video player on both the models offers support for high definition H264 and H263 media content. Both the phones offer a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera with Autofocus, Digital Zoom and Geo Tagging feature.
The Acer beTouch E400 however features a Stereo FM radio that is not found in the Neo Touch P300. But the Neo Touch P300 scores in other areas. Both the phones support 3G network but the beTouch offers just a maximum internet speed of 3.6 Mbps but the Neo Touch offers 7.2 Mbps internet download speed on its 3G network.
Other features to compare these Acer phones, like the latest versions of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are found in both the phones, but the Neo Touch scores lightly over the be Touch in speed and performance of these features. The beTouch E400 is Android OS powered whereas the Neo Touch P300 is powered by Windows Mobile.
The huge price difference is where the beTouch scores over the Neo Touch because the beTouch E400 is priced at around Rs 15500 and the Neo Touch P300 at Rs 30500. Thus it makes it a weird option to choose the Neo Touch over the beTouch at double the cost because both are almost the same in terms of features.
