Exclusive: Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo Will Retail for Rs 22,000
Back in July 2013, it was GizBot who informed first that Indian tech conglomerate Micromax is working on a Full HD 1080p smartphone. Following on the same lines, yesterday, @MMXNewscaster tweeted about the upcoming Micromax handset, when the Twitter leakster revealed the codename of the handset - Canvas Turbo A250.

Now again, GizBot has learnt from an inside source that Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 is all set to launch in India by second or third week of October and it would hit the shelves at a price of around Rs 22,000.
Curious about the specifications? A blog named Droidextra has got them. The A250 uses a MT6589T chip 1.5GHz CPU, in which T supposedly stands for Turbo. And that's also how the handset also got its name. The slate's GPU runs on a clock speed of 357 Mhz, so do expect some solid performance. There will be 1GB of RAM for multitasking. Without question, the phone will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which is around for a while now. At the same time, one can expect the device to be eligible for a KitKat upgrade when its available.
Talking about its screen, the Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo will come with a gorgeous Full HD screen with a resolution of 1080×1920 px, according to desc.txt from the ROM. The official name and model number have been confirmed by the teaser as well as some other information on the slate. Talking about imaging, the device will sport a 13MP rear camera along with a 5 MP front shooter.
There will be 32 GB of internal storage and this can be expandable up to 64GB. Stay tuned to GizBot for more exclusive updates!
