Exclusive: Celkon to Launch Windows Phone Based Win 400; Specs and Photo Leak
Back in June 2014, when Celkon launched its first and the most aggressively priced Android KitKat smartphone - the A35K, GizBot got a chance to interact with one of the top officials of the Hyderabad-based company.

It was back then, the company disclosed that Celkon's Windows Phone device will be launched this year. To be precise, the company had exclusively told us that it would be launched around August 2014.
Anyways, here is an exclusive image of the first Windows Phone device from Celkon that we have got hold of recently and we have also got a bit of details pertaining to the hardware of the device dubbed as 'Win 400.'
The image above is more than a clear proof for most to believe in the upcoming Windows phone device from Celkon. It would be called Celkon Win 400, and as far as the specs are concerned, we have got to know from our source that the smartphone will sport a 4-inch display and will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 msm8212 clocked at 1.2GHz. Basically, a quad core CPU.
In the photography aspect, it won't be as good as the other Celkon phones but it does offer 5MP rear camera with a LED flash and a 0.3 MP front facing snapper. The handset will be offered in two color variants viz. black and white and will be available exclusively via online retailer Snapdeal at a price of around Rs 7,000.
Talking about the build, looking at the image, it appears Win 400 is made of plastic and you will also be able to see a rounded edges along with audio grill at the lower-side of the back panel, which seems to be like a glossy finish as well.
What we are not sure about at the moment is the exact availability of the upcoming phone. However, our source has gave the hints, the Celkon Win 400 will launch this month itself.
The Hyderabad-based smartphone manufacturer is hell-bent on becoming the number one supplier of the low-end smartphones in a domestic market and with the upcoming Windows Phone device, the company will surely fetch couple of more indigenous fans.
