The Indian handset market is witnessing new challenges and tremendous growth at the same time. By 2017, over 1.5 billion smartphone will be shipped globally. Both Indian as well as International tech vendors are trying their best to woo Indian smartphone buyers.
After observing the market very closely, ZTE the world's fourth largest vendor, is all set to launch updated connected devices this festival season. The tech vendor has already announced that they would be launching Grand S in India around Diwali. The retail price of ZTE Grand S should be under Rs. 30,000. We had informed you that ZTE would launch more devices like Grand S with premium build quality and expansive features in the coming days to come.
Now, it looks like that ZTE is preparing yet another high-end handset for the Indian market. In an exclusive interaction, Amit Saxena, Director - Marketing, ZTE India told GizBot that the company will be launching Nubia Z5 Mini in the market.
The executive over at ZTE India informed that the International version of Nubia Z5 Mini carries a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, whereas when the device comes to India it would have a Full HD display. The company wants to promote Nubia Z5 Mini as a full-fledged monster device with a 4.7-inch Full HD display; quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM, a 13 MP camera and much more. The Nubia Z5 Mini is slated to arrive in the market around Diwali. Talking about the price, it will be launched under Rs. 30,000. ZTE India is yet to communicate about the final pricing and retail availability.
The original ZTE Nubia Z5 was launched back in December 2012. The phone was launched with a 5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm powered Snapdragon S4 processor (quad-core), 2GB RAM, 32GB of ROM, a 13MP rear facing camera and lastly a 2,300mAh Li Ion battery.
As the name suggests, Nubia Z5 Mini is a compact version of popular Nubia Z5 flagship smartphone. ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini was launched in China in July 2013. The sales of Z5 Mini were exceeded 10,000 units in the first two days debuting in the Chinese market. ZTE India is targeting urban youth with both Grand S and Nubia Z5 Mini. The Nubia Z5 Mini packs a 4.7-inch screen size with 1080p Full HD resolution. It will be powered by a 1.7GHz quad core processor ( Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro ) coupled with 2GB LPDDR2 RAM and 16GB of ROM. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 13-mega pixel rear facing camera with Auto Focus, LED Flash light and an independent shutter. Also add a 5-mega pixel front facing camera. The makers have added a 2,300mAh Li Ion battery fitted inside. Other connectivity options include: Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, GPS with A-GPS and dual MIC for noise reduction.
