Instagram Coming To BlackBerry 10 Devices and BB A10 Details Leaked

Since BlackBerry is now targeting youth and today's generation who like to spent more time uploading photos on Facebook, so yes, it makes sense to tap a renowned third party app developer.

BlackBerry is already running developer program at the local level in many countries. With this initiative, BlackBerry is eyeing local content to woo users in larger segment. BlackBerry World is home to more than 120,000 apps , however, some of the most talked apps are still missing from BlackBerry 10 OS.

This is not the end , as we diverted our conversation and touched upon company's upcoming devices. BlackBerry is not restricted to just three devices this fiscal year. More devices are coming later this year. We tried to contact two different executives over at BlackBerry India. Well, both of them are reluctant to speak about BlackBerry's forthcoming A10 handset.

In our conversation, GizBot got some clues about the phone. The BB A10 (rumored name), is coming soon, and India has a fair chance to see the handset in another 45 days. It's better to say coming soon, as exact details are still unknown. On June 6, the Canadian tech vendor announced BlackBerry Q10 in India. On July 16, i.e. today, BlackBerry India launched BlackBerry Q5 in India. In a gap of around 40 days, the smartphone maker launched two devices. So can we expect to see the BlackBerry A10 to be launched sometime in the second week of September. Only time will tell ?

BlackBerry A10 - More Details Leaked

The BB A10 has already been leaked several times in the past week. As far as our knowledge is concerned, the BlackBerry A10 build quality will be inspired by BB Q10 and the BB Z10.

When asked when can we expect a dedicated camera phone? The executive told us that now a day's every smartphone has a camera, but they are working on phone with a great camera. It could be BB A10? Who knows?

And lastly, the BB A10 will be powered by a dual -core processor instead of quad-core processor. BlackBerry current portfolio that includes BB Q10, BB Z10 and the very latest - BBQ5, all comes with dual-core processor.

However, BlackBerry may be testing quad-core processor for future BB 10 devices. Another interesting thing that GizBot got to know is that BB is not coming with a smart watch any time soon. Right now, BlackBerry is fully focused to improving the overall experience with BB 10 OS. Stay tuned to GizBot.
