Exclusive: Lenovo Vibe Z Now up for Pre-order in India at Rs 32,960

Lenovo's newest and upcoming smartphone the Vibe Z has finally been shown the green-light to start with its revamped Indian adventure.

The Chinese technology giant has revealed to GizBot that the Vibe Z will be available within 7 days with an effective price of Rs. 32,960. The device is already up for pre order on the company's online store TheDoStore. As a part of introductory offer the company is also offering a free Z smart touch cover in the Vibe Z box that's worth Rs. 2,039.

Exclusive: Lenovo Vibe Z Now up for Pre-order in India at Rs 32,960

The Chinese manufacturer, which will now look to create a potential competitive atmosphere for all other big players sitting pretty in the upper echelons of the market, has revealed that while the Vibe Z will be made available within 7 days, retailing will start in about 10 days maximum.

In case you still haven't got a clue as to what the Vibe Z will be offering feature-wise and specification-wise, the handset features a full HD 5.5-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display which churns out a pixel density of 401 ppi. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The latest Vibe Z also comes with a powerful Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 800 which is a quad core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. There is also the presence of Adreno 330 graphic unit which will give a great overall graphical output and experience. Also add 2 GB of RAM and a Google-based Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS.

Apart from that, the handset also features a massive 13 MP rear camera with autofocus, f1.8 aperture lens and LED flash, which is capable of shooting pictures at 4128 x 3096 pixels quality. On the front, the 5 MP front camera that's equipped with an 84° lens for wide-angle shots will be easy for taking selfies and making video calls.

As far as the connectivity section is concerned, it features GPRS, SPEED, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB and 3G. Also adding to the surprise the handset is a 4G LTE supported device and is already compatible with most of the LTE network around in European countries and other 4G supporting countries. The device will be available in India in 16 GB storage variant. However, there is no microSD card slot. The device measures 149.1 x 77 x 7.9 mm and is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery.

The device is expected to create massive problems for the likes of Samsung, Sony and Apple once it goes live in the market. The Vibe Z's MRP, however, stands at Rs. 34,999 at the moment.
