Exclusive: LG G3 Coming to India in July 2014

Just few hours back LG officially introduced the G3, and it seems that the tech world can't stop praising LG's most ambitious handset till date. The much celebrated flagship phone has already been given blockbuster status much ahead of its global roll-out, which wasn't the case with LG-made handsets before.

And, at the same time, reportedly it has been informed that the LG G3 will land in Singapore for S$868, and for AU$799 in Australia. The QHD display ducked handset will go on sale in South Korea today, while its UK release date is tipped for July launch.

LG G3 - What About India Release?

So far, we've had enough discussions surrounding LG G3's global launch window, but one has specially talked about India release. A high-profile senior executive over at LG India has exclusively informed GizBot that the LG's latest sensational handset, the G3, will be coming to Indian sometime in the first week of July. Previous rumors in the past had suggested the device to get launched in India early next week.

Our source - the same reliable source who had told us that the LG G3 will come with LTE connection - revealed that there are two models planned for India which might be the 16GB model with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM. However, our source has not confirmed the retail price of LG G3 for Indian market, but yes, the tipster has revealed that the handset will cost less than Rs. 60,000 in the market.

LG G3 - Highlighted Specs

LG's latest flagship, boasts a 5.5-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440-pixels resolution. That means 538 pixels per inch. The LG G2 used a 5.2-inch Full HD display.

The phone features a quad-core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB or 3GB of RAM, and 16GB or 32GB of storage with microSD card support, up to 128GB. The makers have added a removable 3,000mAh battery, while the new handset utilizes a 1 watt speaker fitted inside.

The camera has been improved over LG's previous handsets. The 13-megapixel rear-facing features advanced optical image stabilization (OIS+), Laser Auto Focus for quicker focusing, and dual LED flash. There's a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter. The LG G3 will be offered in Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, and Burgundy Red.
