LG has been a firm believer in innovative products. The South Korean giant has vowed to leave no stone unturned in the smartphone and tablet space.

And to catch up to its rivals, the company will be betting big on low-to mid-range smartphones. At this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC), LG first showcased its L series III (L90, L70 and L40) smartphones.

On Monday, LG India displayed its latest smartphone range, including its updated L series III in their LG Tech Show 2014, held in Delhi-NCR.

Just like the previous generation L-series range of handsets, the new phones will cater to masses. Also, all three handsets (L90, L70 and L40) will be running Android 4.4 Kitkat of the box. Additionally, these handsets come with LG's KnockOn feature, which brings tap-to-unlock from a locked screen.

Although the company hasn't formally revealed the retail availability or price of respective handsets; however, we have got to know some crucial information in respect to L-series III.
