4 Reasons Why You Should Skip OnePlus 3T and Wait for the Flagship OnePlus 4
OnePlus 4 tipped to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 830 SoC. May give tough competition to next year flagships like the Apple iPhone 8 or Samsung Galaxy S8.
Of late, rumours have been making headlines that OnePlus is working on an updated version of this year's flagship, the OnePlus 3T. The smartphone is speculated for a December launch with a purported price tag of USD 479 (approximately Rs. 32,000) which is USD 80 more than the current flagship.
Having said that, is this the smartphone you should consider replacing the OnePlus 3 with or should you wait for a while until the company launches its fourth iteration of flagships, the OnePlus 4?

Well, if you're confused about what to do, here are four reasons why you should skip the OnePlus 3T and wait for the OnePlus 4 instead.
Snapdragon 830 chipset against the Snapdragon 821
OnePlus 3T is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 821 chipset whereas the OnePlus 4 is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 830 chipset (which of course, will be a norm for flagships in 2017). There's no doubt that both Snapdragon 821 and 830 are flagship level chipsets. However, it's the very fact that Snapdragon 830, when launched next year will be superior to the existing Snapdragon 821 chipset, is what puts it ahead in the league.
Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box
According to a Weibo user, the OnePlus 4 is expected to launch sometime in next summer, possibly in June or July. Which means the next iteration of OnePlus flagship will definitely run the latest OS, Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The OnePlus 3T is also rumoured to boot the Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. However, it's just a rumour and things may be different when the smartphone is launched.
Bigger battery and more power efficient
According to the latest rumours, the OnePlus 4 will come with a 4,000mAh battery. Also, the smartphone will be more power-efficient owing to the Snapdragon 830 chipset.
OnePlus 4 will feature a better Camera
Currently, if there's one thing that differentiates a high-end smartphone from the rest, it should be the camera. So, it's very obvious to expect a more high-end and better camera from the OnePlus 4 in comparison to the OnePlus 3T.
Moreover, now that all the major smartphone vendors like Apple are showing interest towards dual camera setup on smartphones, there's a strong possibility that OnePlus 4 could get one.
Meanwhile, all of this has to be taken with a pinch of salt for these features may or may not make their way to the final product.
