Coolpad Max: These 5 Low Priced Smartphones Will Make The Competition Tough
On Friday, Coolpad held an event in India to launch the Coolpad Max in the market. The device is exclusive to online retailer Amazon India at a price of Rs 24,999 and it will be available from May 30.
There is a fingerprint sensor at its back and it carries the highlight of being the first phone to come with the Dual Space feature that lets you use two WhatsApp, Facebook, and other social media accounts on the same phone.
The Coolpad Max features a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p IPS LCD curved 2.5D glass display. The screen has the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection as well. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC teamed up with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
It has sizeable 16 GB storage space that can be further expanded using a micro SD card. There is a hybrid dual SIM slot that can be used as a micro SD card slot. Connectivity features on board the Coolpad Max include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
Coolpad Max features a 13 MP main snapper along with dual-tone LED flash and there is a 5 MP front-facer. The device is fueled by a 2,800 mAh battery with the Quick Charge 3.0 feature. The phone runs on the dated Android 5.1 Lollipop platform with the CoolUI 8.0 on top.
Despite these features, the Coolpad Max is definitely overpriced, so here we have come up with less priced rivals that can give this latest market entrant a tough time. All these phones have 4G connectivity and a fingerprint sensor.
LeEco Le 1s Eco priced at Rs 9,999
This LeEco smartphone has created a huge buzz in the market with its flash sale on Flipkart. The device features a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p IPS LCD display that is quite sharp and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under its hood, there is an octa-core 1.85 GHz MediaTek MT6795 processor. It has 32 GB of native storage capacity that cannot be expanded and there is 3 GB of RAM.
There is a 13 MP main camera with autofocus and LED Flash, and a 5 MP front-facing selfie shooter. A 3,000 mAh battery gives life to this 4G smartphone running on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop,
Micromax Canvas 6 is priced at Rs 12,999
Based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, this Micromax device houses a 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD display and it employs an octa-core MediaTek processor under its hood. The hardware features include 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB.

A 13 MP main camera with LED flash is at the rear of the Canvas 6 and there is an 8 MP front-facer for video calling. The battery capacity is 3,000 mAh and it supports 4G connectivity as well.
OnePlus 2 is priced at Rs 22,999
OnePlus 2 also has a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by an 1.8 GHz 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with 4 GB RAM. There is 64 GB default storage with no provision for expansion.
The Oneplus phone features a 13 MP rear snapper with PureCel sensor, laser autofocus, and dual LED flash. The front facing 5 MP sensor has BSI Sensor as well. A 3,300 mAh battery powers the device from within.
Moto G4 Plus priced at Rs 13,999 onwards
This Motorola handset is bestowed with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display topped with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC powers the device with 3 GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
There is 32 GB internal storage space that can be expanded up to 128 GB and a 16 MP main snapper with dual-tone LED flash. The front facer is a 5 MP one with wide angle lens.

Meizu M3 Note costs Rs 9,999
This device is also similar to the rest in terms of specifications. There is an octa-core 1.8 GHz MediaTek MT6755 processor and 3 GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch display with FHD 1080p resolution.
A 13 MP main camera is present at its back and there is dual tone LED flash as well. The front facer is a 5 MP one. The device has 32 GB storage that can be expandable up to 128 GB. It supports 4G and it is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. A 4,100 mAh battery pumps sufficient life to the phone.
