Gionee Launches Marathon M5 with 6020mAh Battery at Rs 17,999: Here's 5 Best and Worst Features
As promised, the Chinese handset maker Gionee is all set to launch its new Marathon M5 smartphone with a colossal battery of 6020mAh.
The company claims that the phone will have 62 hours of standby even if the phone has only 5% of power left. Moreover, this device comes with fast dual charging chips, and can be used to charge the other device as well.
Initially, this smartphone was launched at an event in Beijing in June this year. Moving on to the specifications, the Marathon M5 sports a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
It is also powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU besides 3GB DDR3 RAM under the hood. On the storage arena, this battery centric device is equipped with 16GB of built-in memory, with an expansion option of up 32GB via microSD card.

On the imaging factors, the M5 smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, 5MP front camera with wide angle lens. Talking about the software, this mid-ranger is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Amigo UI 3.1 out of the box.
This dual SIM device supports connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. Moreover, the Gionee Marathon M5 comes in Black, White and Gold color variants at a price of Rs. 17,999 exclusively on e-retailer Flipkart.
