For the unknown, the Z2 Plus is available in two variants priced at Rs. 17,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant and Rs. 19,999 for the 4GB/64GB model. At the heart of the device is a top-notch Snapdragon 820 chipset. The 13 MP primary camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter take care of the imaging department.

Record Slow-Mo video’s at 960fps
By default, the 13 MP camera on the smartphone records slow motion videos at 120fps. However, you can select to record videos at 240fps or 960fps (in addition to 120fps) by changing the slow motion recording settings hidden under camera settings.
Multifunctional U-Touch
Apart from offering the standard fingerprint scanner functionalities, the home button on the Z2 Plus offers support for a slew of cool features. For instance, you can slide left or right on it to switch between apps, long press for redirecting to home, and more. Whats more interesting is the fact that all of these are customisable, so start checking them out.
Quick Switch Panel
The quick switch panel (which can be accessed by swiping up from the bottom of the screen) is quite similar to what Apple does with its Control Center on iPhones, only there are more controls here.
What's more? You can also customise these quick shortcuts depending on your requirement by changing the switching sequence in ‘Quick Switch Panel' option hidden under settings.
Notification LED
The notification LED on the Z2 Plus can be customised to notify you about different messages you receive on your smartphone. For instance, it can be customised to light up when the device is charging to indicate the same.
By default, the notification LED on the Z2 Plus is turned off but you can turn it on from the Notification Settings.
Double tap to wake up
One of the coolest feature present in the Z2 Plus is the ‘double to wake up' option. This feature allows you to wake your phone from sleep without even touching the power button. As the name suggests, all you have to do is double-tap on the screen to wake up.
U-health
The smartphone has a dedicated pedometer inside, which keeps track of activities like user's step count, distance travelled, calories burnt, and more. All the details of these activities will be reflected on the U-Health app pre-installed on the smartphone.
Rotatable Home screen
Previously, only a few apps offered support for landscape mode. However, thanks to advancements in the OS, the auto-rotate mode is now functional system-wide including the home-screen. If you ever need to use it, just enable the auto rotation mode in the quick switch panel.
Long screenshot
One of the nicest features in the Lenovo Z2 Plus is its ability to capture long screenshots. In case you want a screenshot of a scrollable page, this feature may come in very handy.
To use this feature, visit the scrollable page you intend to capture and hold the power + volume down button. You'll see a "click to start the long screenshot" message with an inverted triangle above it, click on it and the screenshot will be captured automatically.
Night Mode
In order to protect your eyes from blue light during night, the Lenovo Z2 Plus offers a night mode which adds a blue light filter to the screen to reduce the intensity of bright light.
Prevent Pocket Dials
Often, accidental movements that happen inside the pocket lead to dialling numbers. In order to prevent this from happening, the smartphone offers a ‘prevent pocket-dialing' mode which, as the name suggests, puts a stop to unwanted clicks (when inside the pocket).
