Metal bodied Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) spotted on benchmarking site: Top 7 Expected Specifications
Rumors are rife that Samsung is working on the 2016 edition of its last year's Galaxy On7. Recently, the new generation Samsung Galaxy On7, codenamed SM-G6100, was spotted on GFXBenchmarking website, which revealed a few specs details.
Now, another Samsung phone with codename M-G610F has been spotted, this time on GeekBench benchmarking site. It is believed that this new phone is none other than the Galaxy On7 (2016) for India.

A phone with same model number was recently spotted on Indian export/import site Zauba, which suggests that it could be Galaxy On7's version for India. The latest spotting of the phone has given out the possible specs details of the Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) version meant for India.
It also suggests that the phone would be launched sooner than later. Here we take a look at the top 7 rumored specs of the upcoming smartphone.

Two variants with different octa-core chipsets
As per the GeekBench list, the new Galaxy On7 would feature an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor with 1.59 GHz octa core processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The Samsung SM-G610F got 742 in single-core test and in received 4152 score in multi-core test.
As per the earlier listing on GFXBench, Samsung SM-G6100 would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon (Cortex A53) 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. The Sm-G6100 is expected to be a variant to be launched in China.
3GB of RAM in tow
The Samsung phone is expected to feature 3GB of RAM paired with 16GB of internal storage out of which 10GB would be reserved for the users. The listing doesn't mention if the phone would have expandable storage support on microSD card.

A full HD screen: The previous listing on GFX listing also suggested that the phone would feature a 4.8-inch full HD screen with 1920x1080 pixels resolution. The screen size seems small against the new generation smartphones in the market, but it would be an appealing option for those who want a smaller display phone. An 8MP selfie camera: SEE ALSO: Samsung Galaxy A4 spotted on Wi-Fi certification Connectivity options: The GFX listing showed that the upcoming Galaxy On7 would have standard connectivity features such as Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. It is expected to also support 4G network, and be available in dual-SIM variant.
The handset will be shipped with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, topped with Samsung's own UI and customizations. It might as well feature the company's latest Turbo Speed technology, which can open native apps up to 40% faster than devices with double the RAM, as per company's claims.
As per the Zauba listing, the Galaxy On7 (2016) would also feature a fingerprint sensor for enhanced data security. It also shows that Samsung has imported fingerprint unit for the SM-G10F in India for testing and evaluation.
In the camera department, it is expected that the phone will feature a 13MP autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. The phone would also feature an 8MP front camera for selfie enthusiasts.
