Desi smartphone maker, Micromax has announced its latest flagship smartphone the Canvas 5 in India, yesterday. The company has tried a new thing in its mobile line-up by providing a leather-like back cover.

The Canvas 5 comes in Black color variant with metal frame and Tan color with golden frame at a price of Rs. 11,999. It will sell through all retail channels including online and offline stores. Find out the best and worst features of the Canvas 5!

The Canvas 5 is clocked at 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit processor embedded with MediaTek MT6753 along with 450MHz Mali-T720 MP2 as GPU besides 3GB RAM under the hood and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The Xiaomi Mi 4i is powered by Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 at a clock speed of 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with MIUI 6.0 on top.
While, the third-gen Moto G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB/ 2GB of RAM at a clock speed of 1.4GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone also runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
