Motorola seems to be prepping up to launch a new Moto G-series smartphones to India. The has already announced that it has partnered with Twitter to livestream the launch event in India. At the event, Motorola will be unveiling the Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Play in India.

The Moto G6 Play, comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio for a 5.7-inch screen with HD+ 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset paired with an Adreno 505 GPU.

In other markets, the smartphone is available in two variants - 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. The smartphone comes equipped with a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion of the storage. Let's see how the device stacks up against other smartphones.
