Sony's Xperia X vs Xperia XA vs XA Ultra: What’s the Difference?
Sony has done it once again after launching its new range of Xperia smartphones. As always the company has brought together the best in class design with cutting-edge camera technology to deliver handsets that consumers will admire and cherish. The company has launched 3 variants of the phone, the Xperia X, XA and XA Ultra.

Chipsets
The Xperia X runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset with a 64-bit Hexa-core architecture. Multitasking would be a breeze on this device.
The Xperia XA and XA Ultra both run have a 64-bit Octa-core processor, and can still handle high, graphic intensive games.
Display
Sony has just made the most crucial features of a smartphone the most beautiful and impressive advantage that the new Xperia phones can have.
The Xperia X has a 5-inch FullHD display with Sony's Triluminous Display technology. Unlike the other models, the display is not edge-to-edge. Yet the device fits comfortably in the hands.

Bearing the same screen size, the Xperia XA too has a FullHD 5-inch display with Sony's proprietary TRILUMINOUS Display that extends to the edges of the phone, eliminating the bezels on the sides.
When things start to get bigger, we have the Xperia XA Ultra that has a 6-inch FullHD display stretched sideways to eliminate the bezels. The colors and Android skins appear vivid and natural all thanks to Sony's display sensors.
Camera
When it comes to the camera, there are few differences here. The Xperia X sports a 23-megapixel camera on the rear which takes photos that remind you of DSLRs. And the 13-megapixel front-facing camera takes the great selfies even in low-light.
Sporting a 13-mgapixel camera, the Xperia XA is capable of taking quality pictures even in HDR mode. The 8-megapixel selfie camera takes great wide angle shots.
The Xperia XA Ultra is truly a camera centric product. With a 21-megapixel camera, the XA Ultra can you great photos. A massive 16-megapixel camera in the front is the best feature of this phone, capable of taking the best low-light shots due to the f2.6 aperture.
Software
The new Xperia devices will run Android Marshmellow out of the box. As always the UI has been custom tuned to deliver an even smoother experience than previous versions. The feel of premiumness extends from the build quality to the software design.
Battery
The specifications are varied on all the three devices. The X has a battery capacity of 2620 mAh that is capable of running for up to 2 days.
The XA on the hand has a battery capacity of 2300 mAh, but can still deliver the same life of 2 days.
Getting the XA Ultra, a massive 2700 mAh powers the device.
Memory
The Xperia X has a built-in storage of 32 GB on its single-SIM variant, while the double-SIM variant has 64 GB of storage.
The XA and XA Ultra both have a storage capacity of 16 GB.
If you do run out of memory, you can still expand the storage up to 200 GB via SD Card on all models.
RAM
The Xperia X and XA Ultra both have a RAM of 3 GB, which helps in great gaming and multitasking.
The affordable XA has a 2 GB RAM that can handle every task with ease.
Pricing
Pricing such a device is crucial, and Sony has launched the Xperia X at Rs 48,990 while the XA is priced at Rs 20990.
Sony is yet to announce the pricing and availability of the Xperia XA Ultra.
