Swipe on Friday launched its new, affordable smartphone dubbed as the Elite 2 which is exclusive to Flipkart. The key highlight of this smartphone is that it is 4G LTE compatible, and is priced aggressively for Rs 4,666 to take on other affordable 4G smartphone offerings in placed under Rs 5,000.
Ever since Airtel rolled out its 4G network in India, smartphone players have got a new feature to bet upon. In the last few months, we have seen many local as well as Chinese smartphone OEMs to introduce their ultra-budget smartphone offerings in India in awe of scoring more points over their competitors and being able to lure consumers. Now that Vodafone and Reliance Jio too are going to launch their services on 4G bands in India, more and more smartphone makers are working on launching compatible devices sooner than later.

Swipe's Elite 2 is another smartphone to join in the list, which includes many more affordable 4G LTE smartphones in India. While most of the features and specs of the Elite 2 are similar to others in the list, one thing that gives it an edge is its price. The phone is priced sightly lower than its competitors, which make it the cheapest in the lot.
Let's take a look at specs of all five budget 4G smartphones to know better about these.
Swipe Elite 2
Starting with the Elite 2 itself, the phone is Swipe's online-only flagship smartphone priced at Rs 4,666. It features a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, and runs on 64 bit 1.3 GHz Quad-Core CPU with 1GB of RAM. Other important specs in the phone include 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, and Android-based Swipe's Freedom OS. Its specs are almost similar to Yu Yunique smartphone.
Yu Yunique
A few months back, Micromax's sub-brand Yu launched the specs-heavy Yunique smartphone for Rs 4,999. The 4G LTE smartphone has a 4.7-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, Android Lollipop 5.1 and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. The phone can be bought exclusively via Snapdeal.
Phicomm Energy 653
This one is good for those who want a bigger display device as this one features a 5-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. In the camera department, you get an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2Mp selfie snapper. The Phicomm Energy 653 can be bought for Rs 4,999 via Amazon India store.
ZTE Blade Qlux 4G
This is yet another 4G LTE compatible smartphone, which sports a 4.5 inch IPS display with 854x480 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor combined with 1GB of RAM. The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera coupled with 5MP front-facing camera, and runs on Android v4.4 KitKat which is upgradable to Lollipop. The phone costs Rs 4,999 and is available on Amazon India.
Lenovo A2010
Lenovo launched the A2010 as its most affordable 4G LTE enabled handset in India. In terms of specs, this phone has a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with 854x480 pixels resolution, a 1 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop, but has a lower megapixel count on camera.
