Xiaomi Mi 5s Coming on Sep 27 With These 5 Striking Features
Xiaomi has started rolling out press invites for an event scheduled on September 27. Although the invite doesn't specifically mention anything about the Mi 5s, it features the English alphabet 'S' which is more than enough for us to confirm it's talking about the Mi 5s.
Recently, the Mi 5s was spotted on AnTuTu benchmark listing confirming the inclusion of Snapdragon 821 chipset.

Now that the launch of Xiaomi's next flagship is around the corner, we've collated all the earlier rumours to tell you what to expect from the Mi 5s.

Like mentioned above, the Mi 5s is expected to featured the slightly upgraded Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at 2.4GHz along with Adreno 530 GPU to take care of graphics. Also, it is expected to pack 6GB of RAM. According to the rumour mill, the Mi 5s will feature a curved display with support for a 3D Touch-like feature as first seen on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. We have to wait for another week for Xiaomi to officially confirm about this. The Mi 5s is expected to feature Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint sensor technology. For those who are not in the know, when this technology is integrated under the Mi 5s's glass screen, it will allow its users to unlock the screen by touching anywhere on the screen. The Mi 5s is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with a layer of company's own MI UI 8 on top of it.
