Xiaomi just announced the Mi Max, but it seems to be prepping two more smartphones that are likely the sequels to Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Redmi Note 3. These new Xiaomi phones that were spotted online and they are expected to be mid-rangers.

Xiaomi mid-rangers get TENAA certification

The new Xiaomi devices that were spotted online carry the model numbers 2016030 and 2015115. These smartphones have received certification from TENAA, the Chinese telecom equipment certification.

Fingerprint scanner on both smartphones

As per the report, both the Xiaomi 2016030 and 2015115 will feature a fingerprint scanner on board letting users quickly and securely unlock their smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi 3A might have octa-core SoC

The Xiaomi 2016030 is speculated to be the Redmi 3A. It is believed to feature a 5-inch HD 720p display. The Xiaomi 2015115 is likely to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display.

Allegedly, the Xiaomi Redmi 3A might come with an octa-core Snapdragon 415 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz. It is listed to feature 2 GB RAM and 16 GB native storage space that can be expanded up to 128 GB.

Running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the Xiaomi Redmi 3A might feature a 13 MP rear snapper, a 5 MP front-facer, and a solid 4,000 mAh battery. A similar battery is to power the Xiaomi 2015115.

The imaging aspects in the 2015115 model include a 16 MP snapper, 16 GB native storage, and 128 GB expandable memory support.

Xiaomi Redmi 3A to support 4G LTE

Both smartphones are listed to support connectivity aspects including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, and 4G LTE as well. It might arrive in gold and silver color options.
