Flipkart Ships Android-Powered Xolo Q900s Instead Of Windows Phone Model to Its Customers
Here is a big goof-up from Flipkart. A considerable number of Xolo fans purchased Q900S smartphone powered by Windows Phone OS via the above mentioned online retailer. But apparently the customers received the Android version of the same device instead.

Obviously, the issue evolved due to the naming pattern the Xolo followed with these phones and sadly ended up with Flipkart making a mistake. Perhaps, confusion with the same model name is what can be blamed enormously.
Anyways, the problem has been solved and in case you have experienced the same, you can mark it for free return on Flipkart website and wait for Windows Phone version. The Android version of the phone was launched earlier this month.

Xolo has a wide range of smartphones in its portfolio and the Windows Phone powered by Q900s was initially launched with an exclusive retail partnership with Snapdeal. However, no wonder how Flipkart got its hands on it, it did ended up disappointing the customers who bought it.
Xolo Q900s: Key Specifications
Both the Windows Phone version and the Android one come with a similar specs and features a a 4.7 inch screen, offering resolution of 720 x 1280. Running the show is a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 processor, with the Adreno 302 GPU on board. Back and front-facing camera uses 8MP and 2MP modules respectively. This dual SIM smartphone has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage inside. A 32GB capacity microSD slot takes care of those requiring more memory, and an 1800mAh.
