The 5.3-inch Fly F53s phablet comes with a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support with one of the SIMs supporting 3G network.
Going further into the specifications, the F53s comes with a 5.3-inch qHD screen offering the screen resolution of 540×960 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor supported by 1GB RAM.
The dual core phablet comes packed with an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera and has the capability to capture 99 shots on burst mode. The Fly F53s also comes with a 2-megapixel front camera for video calling.
Besides being a dual SIM phablet, other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE, and 3G support. Other features in the device include 4GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD. The handset also features proximity and gravity sensors.
The device is eventually powered by a 1,850mAh battery.
Moreover, Fly F53s being a dual core driven device, it may have to face a harsh time in the Indian smartphone market. The Indian market which is offering a lot of handsets at a similar price range make make the latest Fly Phablet more prone to defeats. Moreover, there are more than a number of quad core devices in the market that will probably be hard on to Fly F53s. Thus altogether, the phablet will be in competition with Intex Aqua Wonder, XOLO Q700, XOLO Q600, Lava Iris 458q and others like Spice Coolpad Mi-515, Karbonn Titanium S1 among others.
A few days back, Fly Mobiles also launched F351 which comes with 3.5-inch HVGA display with a resolution of 320X480 pixels, 1GHz processor, 256MB RAM, internal storage of 512MB expendable up to 32GB through microSD card.
The handset features 3.0-megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front facing camera. The smartphone includes a 1,200mAh battery. The entry level Android device is priced at Rs. 4,599.
