Four New Smartphones Launched By ZTE For 2015
ZTE has launched four new Android smartphones for 2015, the flagship-level Star 1 and Blade V5 Lux, as well as value-offerings with the Blade G Lux and Blade G.
The ZTE Star 1 flaunts a 5-inch display which is Full HD. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core at 1.7GHz processor with 2GB of RAM running on Android KitKat 4.4. Available in sleek black or baby pink, the Star 1 also has an 8MP rear camera with dual-tone flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. Storage is provided via 16GB of internal storage, and a MicroSD card slot.
The ZTE Blade V5 Lux is a 5-inch dual-SIM smartphone with a 1280x720 resolution Sharp IPS display. It is also among the first batch of smartphones from ZTE that is powered by the latest Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. Camera-wise, it sports a Sony 13MP BSI rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture.

The ZTE Blade G Lux is an entry-level phone that comes preloaded with social media apps such as Facebook and Twitter. Available in black or white, the 4.5-inch phone packs a 854 x 480 pixel resolution display and is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor at 1.3GHz and 512MB RAM.
The entry-level ZTE Blade G is a simple, value-for-money phone sporting a hardy design with an ergonomic grip. Available in black and white options, the phone also features an elderly-friendly Easy Mode that magnifies widget and font sizes to accommodate seniors' vision. The phones are available at selected M1 retail outlets, starting at S$99 (approx Rs. 6,085) without contract.
