Manufactured by Fujitsu, the phone is expected to hit the market in late May and will be the first handset of its kind that will offer users a built-in iris pattern scanning feature.

As mentioned earlier, the Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G uses iris recognition to replace phone passwords, and can even be used to send payments. Instead of cumbersome passwords or fingerprint scans, you can unlock your device with a blink of an eye.
The smartphone uses a front-facing infrared camera and an infrared LED light to illuminate the user's eyes, verifying their unique iris pattern.
Hardware-wise, the handset features a 5.2-inch QHD (2K resolution) display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 21MP camera and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.

As of now, the Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G is restricted to the Japanese market. Biometrics are becoming more popular with passing day. Just a day back, Vivo unveiled its iris-scanning smartphone, the X5 Pro, in China.
