Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830I gets Android 2.3.6 update
Samsung has announced an update for its Galaxy Ace handsets, model code S5830I to be specific. The update will be for the OS, and it’s getting the Android 2.3.6 version update. Galaxy, one among the top selling Android handsets, is sure a pride for the company.
With every new handsets introduced recently, Samsung had some attractive surprises and offers for its customers. This can be another main reason why they have been the people’s favourite. Samsung however doesn’t seem like losing interest in its early android and this is a sign that they are concerned about all their previous android too.
It is indeed a good sign that Samsung with all its new high end Galaxy Androids running wild over the stores all over the Globe still has time for its comparatively older Androids. They seriously don’t want to risk the name of Galaxy, with its olden versions keeping it low in specifications and application supports.
Any way with the new updated Android OS, Galaxy Ace will have its reintroduction in the market. It’s just a matter of time, when people who owned the Galaxy Ace would download the update from the authorised sites, and start recognising how efficient their handset has become, which Samsung believes, it’s going to be. That we leave to the customers, for in the end it’s their response that would determine its fate.
Another major challenge that the company is going to face will be its rivals having similar handsets in the market at comparatively very low prices. The Galaxy Ace has a price of around 14K in the market and at the mean time, similar handsets from Spice and Sony Ericson is available at much lower prices and also with uncompromised features.
It’s true that they might not have some features that the Galaxy claims of, but still people have found it satisfactory too. The handset is worth comparable to many other handsets recently launched into the market. It has many features and also assures excellent performance in many of the attributes.
Galaxy Ace soon can be expected to be stamped with a good or a thumps down according to the levels of satisfaction it assures with its new update. Samsung fans across the globe are eagerly waiting for the update which will definitely give a new dimension in using the handset. Other details regarding the update will be released by the company as soon as possible.
