Galaxy Note 2 Price Hiked to Rs 36645: 6 Online Retailers Selling Samsung Phablet At Discount
The Union Budget received mixed response from the manufacturers and consumers as far as the smartphone industry is concerned. The reason is that Finance Minister P. Chidambaram announced a 6% hike in the excise duty of all mobile phones priced over Rs 2,000.
With the debut of the new fiscal year, April 1, 2013, it seems like some manufacturers have started having an effect on the same for few models. Market leader, Samsung seems to have come with a crashing price hike on its best selling phablet - Galaxy Note 2.
According to Flipkart listing, the South Korean tech giant has increased the price of phablet following the increase in the excise duty. The Galaxy Note successor has received a price hike from Rs 34,900 to Rs 36,645 online. Not only Flipkart, but also other popular online retail sites including Infibeam, Snapdeal and more have listed the device at a higher price tag of Rs 36,645.
If you are interested in buying the Galaxy Note 2 and worried about the price hike, there is a chance, which is of course only for a limited time period. There are a few online retailers who have still not brought the price hike into the effect and sell the Galaxy Note 2 at a lesser price tag. However, this may not last for long as they might also increase the price anytime sooner.
Anyways, Gizbot is here with a list of online deals available on Galaxy Note 2 for those consumers who do not wish to spend Rs 36,645 on the phablet purchase.
