Galaxy S Advance: After Price Cut Now Samsung Handset Gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Upgrade

Samsung Galaxy S Advance, which was launched in India, last year, at Rs. 26,900 received a price cut, earlier this month and was made available at Rs 17,500. The smartphone has received yet another price and is now available for Rs. 14,500. The latest is that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade is already being pushed out to the handsets and is expected to arrive in India, in the coming weeks. Currently the device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

If you are planning to buy the device, here are it's specifications. Galaxy S Advance is powered by 1 GHz dual core Cortex-A9 processor and supports a SD memory capacity up to 32 GB in addition to 16 GB internal memory, 768 MB system memory and 768 MB RAM. It has a 5 MP rear end camera and 1.3 MP secondary camera. Coming to connectivity features, the Samsung Galaxy S Advance comes with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Connectivity 3G and as for the battery-capacity the Samsung Galaxy S Advance come with a1500 mAh Li-Ion battery. The device has been spotted on Flipkart with the Prize tag of Rs. 14,500.

Last month, Samsung also slashed the prices for their Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S Duos handsets to Rs 28,000 and Rs. 12,900. Meanwhile the Samsungs' flagship smartphone Galaxy S4 is to be launched in India tomorrow, that's definitely something to look forward to. It is reportedly informed to hold a price tag of Rs 42,000 approximately.
