Galaxy S4 Cases, Flip Covers on Pre Order; Samsung Estimates to Sell 10 Million Units in A Month

Samsung is getting ready for the big launch event of Galaxy S4 to take place later today. Although, nobody knows what the smartphone will look like, but covers and flip cases for Galaxy S4 have appeared online for sale.

Online UK retailer MobileFun has started to take pre-orders of Galaxy S4 cases. Moreover, the online retailer is also advertising an array of accessories, which includes Bluetooth headsets, car chargers, desktop chargers and more for the Galaxy S4.

The retailer is now accepting pre-orders for a variety of protective Galaxy S4 cases including hard polycarbonate shells and ones made of flexible materials via its website. Further, the retailer might start shipping Galaxy S4 flip covers in a number of colors including orange, pink, blue, mint, white and black in two months. The listings show that the prices of these cases and flip covers range from $12.99 (approx. Rs 706) to $33.99 (approx. Rs 1,850).

Further, according to a SamMobile report, the Korean tech giant is expecting to sell over 10 million units of Galaxy S4 in the first month of its release. The report also hints that Samsung is sticking on to the plastic case for its devices mainly to produce a high volume of units at a very high rate to be in sync with the growing demand.

On the other hand, several manufacturers such as HTC are struggling to cope up with the demand as they use aluminium body, which is not too easy and hence, their devices often go out of stock as the demand increases.

Going by earlier reports, Galaxy S4 will sport a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED full HD display with 1080p resolution, Exynos Octa processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 3D ready 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Samsung Orb feature that can capture panorama shots, 2GB RAM, 32GB and 64GB internal storage and a 2,600 mAh battery.
