Galaxy S4 Rumor Update: Samsung to Exhibit 5 Inch Full HD Super AMOLED Display at CES 2013, Later to Feature in S3 Successor

After the successful release of Samsung Galaxy S3 in the year 2012, now the South Korean giant is in news again for the successor of the Android smarthpone king. Dubbed by the name of Galaxy S4 in the media world, the highly anticipated Android smartphone is expected to get unwrapped in February 2013 boasting ground breaking features, better than its predecessor. 

Supporting the rumors, a new report has gone viral in the tech arena that states, Samsung is working on 5 inch full HD AMOLED panel to debut at CES in January 2013 at Las Vegas. 

The new report has been swirled by aKorean new paper Asiae, indicating source as Samsung officials, who have informed that Samsung is already preparing a 4.99-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display to be shown off at CES event. “Samsung has been dedicating resources into the Full HD AMOLED, instead of mobile LCD arena, since it is the OLED-based displays that are its differentiating factor before the competition."

Reports in the past have also claimed that Galaxy S4 will come featuring the first-ever “system-on-a-chip." The rumored redesigned chip will be a quad-core processor based on the Cortex-A15 design. According to Digital Daily, the new processor is currently codenamed “Adonis." Adding to that, executives from Samsung"s parts suppliers said the handset will “definitely use" LTE networks.  

Further in the latest report, the officials have also revealed that the display of S4 will come with the support of 441ppi pixel density, similar to human vision, accompanied with 1920x1080 resolution. 

Well it can be said that the current report holds some truth, as in September, numerous reports claimed that Samsung might be secretly working on a new “ClorOLED" display with pixel density of 358 ppi on a 5.8 inch display with an odd resolution of 1024×980 pixels, using the standard RGB matrix instead of a PenTile one.

Whatever may be the case, the Samsung fans will have to wait and watch till the launch of Samsung Galaxy S4 at CES 2013, to witness the the new monster phone might look like.

Further, ongoing rumors have also claimed that Galaxy S4 will be offered in 16GB, 32 GB, 64GB and even 128 GB variant and will also come packed with 3GB RAM, 3,200 mAh battery, and a Skype-ready 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera.
