Gionee, a well known Chinese smartphone maker, recently launched its new mid-range smartphone into Indian market. To be called as the CTRL V4S, the new Android-based smartphone, is now available at a price point of Rs. 9,999.
Specifications wise, the Gionee CTRL V4S houses a 4.5-inch (480 x 854) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor coupled with an ARM Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device also comes with 8GB of native storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
In the imaging department, the phone does come with an 8MP rear camera alongside a 2MP front facing shooter. Other connectivity options are as follows: Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0 among others. The mid-range handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the box.
Gionee's CTRL V4S will certainly face tough competition from the likes of the Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) ; ZTE V5; Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 ; Lava Iris X5; Xolo 8X-1000 among others.
