Gionee E6: Micromax Canvas 4 Rival To Launch With 5-inch 1080p Full HD Display

|

The Gionee E6 is coming to crush Micromax Canvas 4 in the coming days. No, this is not a joke, as the makers behind insanely popular Gionee E3 are planning to launch a high end phone soon. According to a report by GizChai, we could see a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display smartphone in the coming days.

The Gionee E6 is an immediate successor to Gionee E3. The phone seriously packs some great internal specifications. It is said to have latest MT6589T Quadcore Chipset clocked 1.5 GHz. We expect the device will have 2GB of RAM built in along with either 8GB /16GB expandable internal memory.

Other features include a 13-mega pixel rear facing camera with BSI sensor and LED Flash built in. The rear back of the device (see above image) surely reminds you of Sony Xperia Z. The front camera is said to have a 5-mega pixel camera with 720p HD recording. The device will back Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

In the battery compartment, we expect the makers might not do wonders, as it is reported that the phone will have a 2000mAh Li Ion battery inside.

In terms of pricing, the Gionee E6 should be made available to consumers between Rs. 17,000 - Rs. 19,000. If the company is planning to charge higher than Rs. 20,000 then consumers won't buy considering the brand is still not popular in the Indian market.

In the morning, we informed you that Gionee has come with CTRL V4 quad-core handset at Rs. 9999. The phones has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, 1.2GHz quad -core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 512MB of RAM, a 5-mega pixel rear facing camera along with VGA quality front facing shooter, 4GB of internal storage ( expandable), Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and a 1800mAh battery inside.

We are eagerly waiting to pit Gionee E6 against Micromax Canvas 4. The former handset will be announced next month in Beijing, China. While, India based Micromax is expected to announce Canvas 4 sometime this week. Stay tuned to GizBot.
