China based smartphone manufacturer Gionee is all set and ready to take on the fight against the brand leaders in the Indian handset market including Samsung, Nokia, HTC and more. Today, the tech vendor will be launching its brand new flagship smartphone Gionee Elife E7 in India, which will be retailed by the end of next month.
But apart from the biggie, there is one more smartphone from Gionee which is in store for you, the striped down version of the E7 - the Gionee E7 Mini which will be launched today alongside the phablet version. The price is expected to be around Rs 18,999.
Specswise, Gionee Elife E7 Mini is a Dual SIM smartphone which flaunts a 4.7-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display along with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and will come equipped with the processor power of MediaTek's MT6592 true octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz.
Other features include 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS support, Radio FM, 3.5mm audio jack and 2100 mAh Li-Ion battery.
The highlight specification is the 13-megapixel swivel (rotating) camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. Further, the Gionee E7 Mini Android has 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system with Amigo UI on top.
According to the cited source, the Elife E7 mini will be available in India by the end of January 2014 at a price of around Rs 18,999.
