Gionee P1, L800: Budget Android and Feature Phone Launched at Rs 4999 and Rs 2599

The smartphone maker which has established strong grounds in Nigeria, Vietnam, and also in China is now gearing up to take on the Indian smartphone market. Recently the company launched Rs 15000 prices Gionee Dream D1, a 4.65 inch company's flagship smartphone and now the company has come up with not one but 2 budget handsets in different categories. An Android smartphone offering Gionee P1 priced at Rs 4,999 and also L800, a brand new feature phone at Rs 2,599.

Gionee P1 - Key Specs

Being an entry level dual SIM smartphone, Gionee P1 would come packed with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, a 1GHz MediaTek MT6515M processor, a 2-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 512 MB internal memory, 16GB expandable memory with microSD, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack and 1,500 mAh battery.

Gionee L800 - Key Specs

As far as specifications are concerned, Gionee L800 is also a dual SIM Java ready smart feature phone, preloaded with various applications including Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo Messenger, Cricket, Opera mini and more. Further, it would flaunt a 2.8-inch QVGA display, MediaTek MT6250 processor, 1.3 MP rear camera, 64MB RAM, 128MB internl memory, expandable memory card slot along with powerful 3,000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery, claimed by the company to deliver 30 days standby with a single charge.

Other basic features would include MP4 player, Wireless FM Radio, 1000 phonebook memory, 500 SMS memory, 2G EDGE / GPRS and Gionee L800 will be available in Black and Golden color variants. Just like the Gionee P1, the company has introduced an introductory offer for Gionee L800 as well, where the buyers would be given 4 GB memory card and Phone pouch absolutely free.
