Gionee Pioneer P2S: 4-Inch Dual-Core Smartphone Launched at Rs 6,499

Off late Gionee has been doing phenomenally great after the success of Elife E7 and Elife S5.5. While the company continues to perform exceedingly well in the mid-range market, the same cannot be said about the affordable segment.

In order to make its presence felt in the low-end market, Gionee today launched the Pioneer P2S in India at a price point of Rs. 6,499. The budget phone comes in Black, Blue, White, Yellow and Red color options.

The Gionee Pioneer P2S, a rival handset to mega popular Motorola Moto E, is an entry level phone made for masses. The phone has been trimmed down so as to reach a minimum price of Rs. 6,499. With the Pioneer P2S, Gionee has added a comprehensive handset in the affordable range. In comparison to the original Pioneer P2, the new phone surely features better specs but this doesn't look like a major upgrade.
